Two "New" W&LE Units Headed East

WE 6989 and WE 6967 are moving east on 398 from Kansas City to Decatur, IL this afternoon. While I think they may be classed SD40-2, both units were clearly GMD SD40s as built. Both units are currently in the BNSF heritage-I paint scheme.

The train is preparing to leave Moberly, MO now.

NS 6969 and UP 7432 are the lead units on this train.

Thank you for the update on these two engines. I've been told that these are the first of quite a few "new" SD40's that should arrive on W&LE property in the next few weeks.
