Author: aussiehinz It's been a while since "Big Blue" came calling around here, but this morning I received a helpful tip that it was leading a UP to CSX "YPRCU" Transfer Job down the CSX Blue Island Sub. Here are some views as it made its way south from Kedzie to Forest Hill, along Chicago's west side.
Cheers, aussiehinz 1. Crossing the Chicago Sanitary & Ship Canal at Ash Crossing 2. Meeting a CSX northbound at Brighton Park 3. Author: TrainCatcher Nice job, especially #3. The Conrail has finally come out of the southern Illinois coal fields. Hopefully it makes some runs back and forth on some of the former Conrail lines in Northern Indiana and Ohio for a while.
