Eastern Railroad Discussion > 11V 1111,Barcode, through the "Swag"Date: 08/08/14 15:12 11V 1111,Barcode, through the "Swag" Author: nancyg Today Alan and I went to Rogers Flea Market which is east of Alliance and Salem, and north of East Liverpool, OH.
When we were finished Alan suggested we follow the NS Fort Wayne line back to Alliance and maybe catch a train for me. I commented on Alan’s post, Wednesday, that I needed to get my camera out of storage. We went through Beloit, this is were the swag is located, as seen on many TO posts, so we thought we would look for it and found it. We had no sooner stopped and the Barcode came west. We had no idea it was the Barcode until Alan zoomed in to check the clarity of the photo and then noticed it was the Barcode. After shooting the 1111 a track inspector came through so we started to leave but heard the detector for an eastbound, so I got to shoot two trains, lucky me, didn’t get a number for the second manifest but a small freight. Thanks for looking, nancyg photo # 1 11V approaching Ellett Rd crossing the swag in the background photo # 2 11V through the swag I cropped this one I didn’t have my telephoto lens, Alan had it! and here are photos I took with tour telephoto, I still think your prime lens is better. Just look at the clarity with your lens against the tele....just saying. the two photos; the 11V coming through the swag and the e/b freight come over the reverse swag approaching Ellett Rd crossing me!
