Eastern Railroad Discussion > RR Crossing SafetyDate: 08/10/14 18:54 RR Crossing Safety Author: trainnut51 Every week the safety team at work comes up with a different safety topic. For example: Bike safety, driving safety, ladder safety and others. Well when I saw this weeks topic I just had to take this pic and share it on TO. Even a dummy knows about RR crossing safety on our site.

John R -- CP Spring Carlisle, PA Date: 08/11/14 05:10 Re: RR Crossing Safety Author: dschlegel We need a sign like this in Topton, PA. I've lived here almost 11 years now and have seen a soda delivery truck, two cars and a tractor trailer all get hit, plus 3 suicides. The most recent suicide was this past Friday evening. There's not a lot more haunting than hearing a train hanging on the horn followed by a heavy brake application.
