Here are some photos of two nice catches I caught yesterday in Leetonia, OH. The most special was NS 11V with the wild 9-unit consist. Enjoy!

#1. NS 552 heads through Leetonia with an old UP C41-8W in the middle of the lashup The train will soon have a meet with 20R, which came before 552 had cleared.

#2. UP 9449 (C41-8W) in old tattered Armour Yellow paint trailing 2nd of 3 units on 552.

#3. SD40E helpers 6341 and 6331 shoving on the rear of 552 with the rear portion of 20R in the background.

#4. The train of the day makes its appearance. NS 11V heads west under the SR 344 overpass at the west end of Leetonia with a KILLER consist which I dubbed the "Consist of the Weekend". NS 8355 (C40-8W) and 3398 (SD40-2) lead 7 CP, CN and BNSF engines dead in tow towards Bellevue. One of the units includes a rare CP SD90MAC as the 5th loco in the consist.

#5. CP 5900 (SD40-2) and 4650 (GP40) trailing 3rd and 4th behind the NS power on 11V. Note the unusual paint scheme on #4650.

#6. Rare CP 9108 (SD90MAC) trailing 5th in the consist. My very first catch of one of these old brutes. This is one of only four MACs currently in operation on CP. The rest of the fleet is in storage and a few have also been scrapped.

#7. CN 5691 (SD75I) and CP 8848 (ES44AC) trailing 6th and 7th behind the CP MAC.

#8. And finally, BNSF Dash-9s 5081 and 5002 bring up the rear of the colorful 9-unit lashup on 11V.
