Taking advantage of a day off from work and beautiful weather, I headed out to catch the colorful lash up of NS train 212 on 8/25/14.
Photo 1: 212 knocks down the 22.2 signal at Hilltop Rd. just west of Alburtis, PA.
Photo 2: 212 crosses the Delaware River into Phillipsburg, NJ with the Easton skyline in the background.
Photo 3: With a little heads up from a group on Facebook, found out that 13T had a blue CN leader this morning, so with the KCS chase over with, I headed up to Northampton, PA to get a photo at the Siegfried station.

Didn't have to drive fast at all, the train held up at BURN for 15 minutes, I even got stuck in a convoy on 78 doing only 60 mph and still managed to have time to get into position for shot number 2.

GREAT pics!!! Pic 2 is my favorite.

Really good images from today. I had heard of the KCS power on the 212, but couldn't get off from work. I am off later this week and either this weekend or in early October enroute to Jim Thorpe, I plan on photographing the CNJ Siegfried station.

Pic 2 view taken from top of the former LV signal bridge?
