Railfest Eve

Stopped by Steamtown today Friday before the official start of Railfest Saturday, moving equipment around for display, seems the diesel has taken over, not a live steam locomotive to be seen anywhere.

Everyone knows that SMART dogs also love trains! My little guy loves to ride and listen (he's blind) to the trains all the time!

Re the 2nd photo posted at 1441 hrs: what is the grey car with, is it protective mesh and portholes, on the side?

That pup on the right looks a ton like my dog Madle who I had to put down last February. She was the queen of CP88 for many years when I lived in Bethlehem PA and would take her to wych trains and visit with other railfans.
What a sweet looking set of beagles!

In response to Amtrak Julie's question a few items above -- Surprised no one answered this already but looks to me as if that is the Lackawanna painted B-unit to go with the F unit a few pictures above.
