The maid of all work, Q385, finally made it to the C&O here in Ohio. Of course, the excellent heads up provided here on Trainorders made this a special train with the Savannah and Atlantic heritage unit leading. We got a bit of a late start and ended up heading to Carey, Ohio first, in case we missed the train at Fostoria.

Arriving at Carey, we realized the Q385 was still working at Fostoria as Q634 calls the signals westbound.

Photo 1: Thankful for the cloud cover, Q634 rolls under the C&O signal bridge and mast signals at the west end of the center siding at Carey, Ohio.

We decide to head toward Fostoria to see if we can find Q385. We arrive as the train gets the signal out of the center siding.

Photo 2: Pulling east, past the rear of Q634 and under the C&O signals, Q385 continues its trip to Columbus.

We get ahead of Q385 at Carey. Despite the clouds, we are please with our parting shot.

Photo 3: Q385 blasts across US 23 and under the C&O signals at "Onion Farm".

There appears to be some sort of damage on the right front of the nose?

Classic CG! And there may not be a lot of heritage ops under those C&O sigs before they fall....

Also love number 3. And that red unit trailing sure sets off that nose logo on the lead.
