Ask Nicely and You Shall Recieve

After seeing the FXE on Friday night I stopped by Valley crossing and the I&O local was stopped. He had his headlights on. So I walked back to the Engineer and asked if he could turn his lights off, the engineer said he would be happy to. A big thanks to the I&O crew!

A location in Columbus Oh on the C &O where the old Hocking Valley met the C & O for the trip west to Toledo.

Valley Crossing in current terms is where CSX's Athens Indistrial Track crosses the NS Columbus District on the SE side of Columbus, OH. I&O has trackage rights over the line for their a Logan Line to reach CSX's Parsons Yard.

Originally it was the crossing of the Scioto Valley (NS) and Hocking Valley (CSX).
