Erie, PA GE locomotive plant tour this past Saturday

I was invited to the GE Family Days this past Saturday by a GE employee to tour the GE locomotive plant in Erie. All I can say is WOW! I will let the photos tell the story! I have over 25 pics to post, so it will take a bit to get them all up.

CN, KCS, UP, Rio Tinto, Roy Hill, BNSF, Vale, Citirail (CREX) are being built, FEC units are in component stages.

Last 2 photos are of a Roy Hill ES44ACi(HH) being built for shipment to Australia

I agree with you, WOW! what a great opportunity hope you took a bunch. They may be close to last time getting any good photos inside?
Really cool photos always enjoy them from one of the "guys"

Great pictures. Its amazing how small the prime mover compared the actual locomotive. Now if only EMD would let us inside of one of there plants.
