Couple Awesome Catches from Sunday
Author: fatnrat

Here are a couple awesome trains I caught on Sunday, October 19, 2014. First is NS 16E in Rochester, PA with a BNSF GP50 still in BN green and then 170 in Salem, OH with UP Southern Pacific 1996 trailing. Enjoy!

1. 16E comes thru CP Rochester with two Dash-9s leading the BN GP50.

2. BNSF 3148 (GP50; ex-BN) trailing third on 16E.

3. Going away shot of 3148. Finding BNSF 4-axle units in predecessor paint schemes is becoming a rarity.

#4. The train of the day. NS 170 rolls through Salem, OH after 6 p.m. with UP's Southern Pacific heritage unit #1996 trailing second. This train had waited for two eastbounds at Alliance before continuing on.

#5. Roster shot of UP 1996.

#6. Going away shot of the 1996. My second UP heritage unit!
