Midnight Rider Accident on 20/20 10/31
Author: Out_Of_Service

on now EDT ... paper memo shows CSX refused movie company access to their property ... all fingers point to Randall Miller as the person responsible for Sarah Jones's death and 7 other injuries ... new video released today from the engine of CSX Q125-19 shows the movie crew scrambling off the bridge with train barreling towards them at 50+mph hitting the bed ... the video is/was frightening to say the least with movie crew members clinging to bridge girders covering their eyes as the train hits the bed on the tracks ... an injured movie crew hair stylist is suing the producers, CSX and the surrounding land owners ... video shows footage of Randall Miller in court being sued in a civil suit by Greg Allman asking if he received pernlmission from CSX to be on the railroad ... he squirmed like a weasel on the stand saying he had permission from Rayonier ... when asked 3 times by the plaintiff attorney if he sent anybody out to watch for trains the A$$HOLE callously replies "It's Not My Job" ... what a SCUMBAG ... check it out if ya have On Demand ...

I saw it as well. Can't figure out why the hair stylist's suit against CSX hasn't been thrown out.

When I saw the locomotive cam it is obvious the crew couldn't see the people/stuff on the bridge until it was way too late to stop.

the clip on the ABC News Saturday morning was scary.

The engineer must have been traumatized. Nothing to do but dump the air and lay on the horn.

Wow, hectic scene for sure. I can't help but notice though that they had alot more time then I thought they did to get off the tracks. I'm not blaming the victims for a second, just an observation...

The story was pretty well done and laid blame where it appears to have been. - on Mr Miller.

The only surprise (sort of), was the stylist suing CSX and the adjacent landowner. Say what?? How in the he!! Are they liable to her for anything??

She probably lost a lot of sympathy from many viewers when they heard that as it is clearly a money grab. An unfortunate story to say the least, but that part clearly did not make sense.

That's all lawsuits are, money grabs. Who sues for an apology?

. an injured movie
> crew hair stylist is suing the producers, CSX and
> the surrounding land owners ... video shows

If I were a lawyer for CSX.
Question for the hair stylist,

Can you read English?
Holding up a CSX No Trespassing sign,
Please read this.
What does it say?
young lady, you were trespassing on private property.
Because of that CSX will not be held responsible
for your negligence.

Your Honor,I request that this case be dismissed.

(She is pissing in the ocean, and trying to find a money pot)

I have been to that location a few times.Mainly to shoot the
paper mill engines when they come out to switch.Along with
that I would shoot the mainline trains.
Over the years (since 9-11)all of that area is private property
and is posted as such.(see above)

Uncle Joe,Seffner,Fl.

PS I still cannot understand why ANYONE would put their life in
jeopardy by being on the bridge,or tracks.EVERY train to and from
Florida operates this route.All freights,juice train,all Amtraks
including the Auto train.

not so hasty in your assessment there uncle Joe ... ya have to remember she was working for a very reputable movie company ... she had no reason to think her life was in danger when she was told by Mr Miller there were no more trains and if one does show up it will be traveling slow enough for everyone to clear off the bridge ... she WASNT just blantantly trespassing ...
