Eastern Railroad Discussion > BNSF 4693 on tonight's Q508Date: 09/08/02 19:29 BNSF 4693 on tonight's Q508 Author: M.Schwiebert Tonight's Q508 had BNSF C44-9W 4693 as the only unit. The train was by Perrysburg OH at 10:15 PM. Usually the power that comes in on 508 goes back out on the next day's 509.

Any reason why? Doesn't this train come out of Garrett?
Chris Date: 09/09/02 16:31 Re: BNSF 4693 on tonight's Q508 Author: CSX_CO From what I've seen the power that goes out on Q509 goes back on Q508. I suppose it could go the other way, up on 508, back on 509, but the EMDX lease unit comes to mind as an engine that made the 509-508 turn last summer.
That engine will probably be snapped up by Stanley and put on some train that 'deserves' it in their eyes! May even head out on Q308 to Avon for return to the BNSF via Q598. Have a safe CSX Day! |
