Eastern Railroad Discussion > "November Gray..."Date: 11/13/14 15:57 "November Gray..." Author: aussiehinz Except for a few flakes swirling around here and there, Chicagoland dodged the snowfall that buried a large chunk of the Upper Great Lakes region. But it was frigid nonetheless, with a stiff wind out of the northwest this morning as Penn Central heritage unit 1073 led CN Train #338 across the South Loop and then down the Lakefront toward Markham Yard. As the train finally appeared, I couldn't help but remember the countless times I had taken Penn Central photos on the very same kind of gray winter-like day, in the Northeast and Midwest back in the 70's.
Cheers, aussiehinz 1. At 16th Street Interlocking 2. At 31st Street 3. At Oakwood Boulevard Date: 11/13/14 16:01 Re: "November Gray..." Author: SCKP187 That unit looks really good and I sure do like the Oakwood Blvd. shot, good choice of location.

Date: 11/13/14 20:44 Re: "November Gray..." Author: erie833 Nailed it! Don't worry about the weather, this was a rare run for this H unit. The exposures were right on for the conditions. Great "I'm not on the PC anymore" locations too.
