Eastern Railroad Discussion > CSX snow clearers

According to the folks at Accuweather the Buffalo area and
the eastern area of lake ontario are going to inherit "feet of snow"
over the next couple of days.

Would any of you happen to know where the two CSX self propelled rotary
plows inherited from CONRAIL are located?

Time to pack the bearpaw snow shoes!!!!

The weather forecast I saw said 1-1/2 feet in the first wave and 2 feet a couple of days after that.

I know one is located in the old Buffalo Creek yard along the Buffalo waterfront.

Was golfing in Buffalo last Tuesday and plan to crank the downloader up this Tuesday.

I meant crank the snowblower up!!

The Weather in Buffalo does not
good at all.

The thruway is closed from Buffalo to Dunkirk and now to the
PA. border as of tonight and the New York State Police are doing
health and welfare checks on the 100 or so cars and trucks that
are stuck and trapped in snow using snowmobiles.

Does anyone one know id CSX has moved the snow
clearer from the Buffalo Creek Railyard?
