"Take me somewhere warm...and soon FEC 808/810

Greetings all; decided to "chance" it today that the FEC locomotives would still be waiting so my good friend Dave and I drove to Erie, Pa. Drive was adventurous to say the least. First two pictures are self explanatory and third picture is a zoom picture of the fuel gauge...Erie did have quite a bit of snow on the ground...

Fourth picture is of the digital fuel gauge indicating gallons, fifth picture is of the Q015 from this past week thru Akron, Ohio being led by the CN 1002, sixth picture is of the W&LE Z642 with the former Rio Grande 5391 Tunnel Motor on point. Never seen the Tunnel Motor up an any of Wheeling's stone trains thru Akron...

Seventh picture is of the NS 1071 on 20Q at Homewood, Pa. which is also known as CP WOOD on the NS Fort Wayne Line PC 34...Thanks to FEC2000 for the FEC information posted on here and the FEC Facebook page. Also thanks to Dave for going with me and most importantly God for getting us there and back safely. I work twelve hours tomorrow as a few of our Security officers are police officers and personally knew the Akron Police Officer shot and killed this past week. Have a good weekend all...

Sweet! You had a good day. Those T-motors have been to Akron ( even as a pair) but it isn't common....good catch.

I wonder if that digital fuel gauge will hold up. It reminds me of items I built while working for Tokheim many years ago for gasoline pumps.

I had a cop friend shot and killed years ago. It sucks for all to say the least.
Good PIX thanks for the post.

Meat pictures.

I though GE would fill up the tank kind of like when you buy a new car at a good dealership.

Folks in Buffalo might be able to cut you a deal if you take their snow...
