Eastern Railroad Discussion > Pokey Pics of 1068Date: 12/17/14 16:41 Pokey Pics of 1068 Author: jrs611 Out for a day of train watching and the first train I catch has Erie heritage 1068 in the lead. The chase was on and I followed the train from Chattaroy to Naugatuck, WV. I did pretty good till arriving in Naugatuck. At that point I ran into traffic and knew this was the end of the chase. Also, my picture attempt at this location was....shall we say less than successful. All I can do was smile and laugh as 1068's crew blew by me at speed. So, my Erie pursuit lasted about 10 miles but it was fun. Back at Chattaroy I caught 2 more trains before calling it a day.
All pictures were taken along the Norfolk Southern Pocahontas Division. All spots accessible off of US 119 and US 52. All locations are north or westbound of Williamson Yard.
