Q311 this evening in Columbus, Ohio sported a nice pair of CEFX Bluebirds. Here they are departing Parsons yard

The only Bluebirds that I knew of were on the NKP!

I agree. "Bluebirds" is a deserving reference to locomotives clad in an exquisite, identifying paint scheme, used in passenger service, when such service actually meant something.

The units in the posted photo should merit some other name, such as "White Liners" or "CEFX Blue Plate Specials". DAM

The Wabash had a passenger train called the Bluebird.
