Eastern Railroad Discussion > How will storm affect NS ops in NJ??Date: 01/26/15 09:58 How will storm affect NS ops in NJ?? Author: dschlegel Normally I get an email for service alerts from NS whenever a weather event is imminent, however I haven't seen anything yet for the big storm expected in NJ and NY tonight into tomorrow.
Will trains headed to the NJ area be held outside of the projected storm path until conditions improve or will they continue to their terminals? I'm mostly curious about the 20W with the 8099, but also wondering about the rest of the EB intermodal and autoracks. Thanks! dogcatch crews otherwise. BUT, when has the storm ever been as bad as the weather guys forecast? Out Date: 01/26/15 10:33 Re: How will storm affect NS ops in NJ?? Author: dschlegel callum_out Wrote:

Motive power was NS 9855 and NS 9093 leading a nine-car consist.

Right now in North Jersey its coming down hard we got an inch in the last 45min. Governor called state of emergency requested everyone be off the roads by 1pm. LOL I am home for lunch going back to work sorry Chris. I know its not an NS report but its sort of relevant.
