K565 - new train
Author: MEKoch

Have now twice seen a new train on the New Castle Sub in Ohio. It is a pipe train from Dothan, AL to Warwick, OH, via Crestline, OH. At Warwick (Clinton) it is given to R.J. Corman, who take it to Massillon, to a pipe mill. Thence eastward to eastern Ohio to build a new natural gas pipeline. Last night's train had two BNSF units, which were to stay on the train for Corman to use.

I don't know the train's frequency. Weekly? Anybody have more info?

I was wondering about that too. Yesterday, I saw part of the pipe train on R.J. Corman from US Route 30. This was the first time that I have seen this train. I believe they empty the train at the old Republic Steel plant, where they have created a new yard, but I am not sure.

Does this traffic originate in Panama City, Fla. on the BAYL with interchange to CSX at Dothan?
