The Reading & Northern has been storing tank cars all over their system, like a swarm of locust's they have now invaded cp Laurel Run!

Well....that pile of ties really srews up the down shot from the bridge. I wonder how long they will be there....until they rot?

the price of crude has US oil priced higher than imported foreign crude, plus the mandate of older tanks cars having to be upgraded before being used for flammable commodity transport by rail ...

Those tank cars look like newer post CPC1232 cars to me and have seen some service, notice mud spots on end of lead tank car. Must have been stored for a short time with the oil price drop last winter. Was this crew with obviously a loco and buffer at each end going to depart with the cars?
