Eastern Railroad Discussion > Reflections of the RF&P on the Rappahannock RiverDate: 05/22/15 06:27 Reflections of the RF&P on the Rappahannock River Author: Railfan94 Since I never posted on here until about 2 months ago, i never got the chance to Upload these photos. If you ever visit the RF&P, one must make a note to shoot the Rappahannock River Bridge here in Fredericksburg. If you can manage to catch it at high tide, you will get quite the treat. On this particular cool November morning, it wasn't looking good for a train to show up at perfect high tide, and then it happened. Q034 showed up just in time to catch the last couple minutes of the mirror still waters! Hope Everyon Enjoys!!!

Gonut Date: 05/22/15 10:24 Re: Reflections of the RF&P on the Rappahannock River Author: Railfan94 Yes, taken from the first of the 3 new docks. This was just a couple weeks after they opened them in Mid-October after about a 2 month delay in construction.

Sharon Evans Glen Allen, VA Date: 05/22/15 14:31 Re: Reflections of the RF&P on the Rappahannock River Author: turnbuckle That is a good shot!
Hey, that bridge looks like Key bridge. You know Roslyn VA to Georgetown. Same concrete structure: broad arches with vertical supports. Wonder if its the same architect? Date: 05/22/15 15:24 Re: Reflections of the RF&P on the Rappahannock River Author: nycman Wow, mirror still it sure is. Don't think I have ever seen any river/lake/puddle as calm as that is. Very nice photos.
