Eastern Railroad Discussion > LV SW-1 #112 repainted.Date: 05/24/15 06:26 LV SW-1 #112 repainted. Author: Sirsonic Pennsy Railcar Restorations LLC owner of LV SW-1 #112 has repainted #112 in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Black River and Western Railroad as BR&W SW-1 #400. The original BR&W SW-1 #400 was owned by Sam Freeman who also owned Pacific #148 at the time it was on the BR&W as well. Original #400 was sold after Sam's death, and ended up at an ADM elevator in the Midwest before being scraped in 2009.
LV fans do not worry, this is just a temporary paint scheme before #112 gets repainted back into LV colors either this fall or spring of 2016. Image 1 and 2 are of #112 as #400 Image 3 is of orginal #400 in the 1970's at Ringoes, NJ. Date: 05/24/15 13:29 Re: LV SW-1 #112 repainted. Author: Lackawanna484 That's a great paint job.
