Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS 8100 leading NS 205

NS 8100 was last reported by HU on Sat 7/4 heading East on 206.  Yesterday I was told it was leading and heading back West on 205 as expected but it still was not to Binghamton.  Does anyone have any updated location?  TIA.

OD for Binghamton? So safe to expect this thru Cleveland tomorrow late morning? And next crew change would be Buffalo? Thanks for that information!

As of 1:05, 205 is on the move West. The next crew would be Buffalo.

When it runs through Cleveland will depend on how much work it has in Buffalo as well as crew availability. The 205 trains' appearances on the Chicago Line have become somewhat erratic of late.

I got 205 in Toledo at 1:30 on Friday afternoon with 8100 leading. It was kinda quiet as most of the Northern Ohio folks were chasing 8102 across the state on the old PRR.

8100 is probably gonna be into Buffalo around 6 or 7. Crew OD usually at 0500 in the morning from Buffalo, but that may be delayed and 205 may work Bison. Then he will have to meet EBs on the single tracked NKP.

Cheektowaga NY at 9:36 pm so it's probably in Buffalo now. How long it sits there is anyone's guess.
