765 Monday Ferry Move Thread

Is anyone out for 765's move to Buffalo? When is this train expected to depart Youngstown?

Nick- my son and I sure hope to catch this move. We are in Fairview, PA (~MP98, near the Swanville trestle). Last word I saw from the FWRHS only indicates it will move "this morning". Hopefully their Twitter feed will provide updates, and I have a feeling folks will be out in Astabula and Conneaut.We plan to stay around Fairview as we want to catch it passing "home"...

Thank Rob, I too am hoping someone reports it close. I'm planning on going in the Conneaut area, let's both hope for a quick and easy catch, good luck out there.

No new ETD info, but the FWRHS App map does now show the route north to Ashtabula, back around the NP connector, then east to Buffalo. They indicate they will tweet updates as time allows.

They will change pilot crews at Ashtabula, and possibly be held for the 206 and 22K

I just posted on other thread - - just heard DS ask 957 if he could knock down
signal at NP.  Guessing will hold in siding for 145 and/or 26R.

Through Fairview right around 5pm, must be at or past Ripley by now. Some heated conversation with the YL Disp on what is going to happen to the train in Buffalo. If you are over that way it may be at Blasdell for a bit, unless things get resolved before then.
