Eastern Railroad Discussion > W&LE 6349, version 2.0

Caught up to the W&LE unit 6349 this evening near Spencer Ohio.  This unit was originally built for the BN as locomotive 7082, and when purchased by the W&LE this year was given the number 6349.  That particular number was previously assigned to another W&LE unit, who after all the changes was assigned number 6982.  The original, now 6982 is a former KCS unit the W&LE aquired in 2008.

The 2.0 version in the top photo is nearing Spencer eastbound with some empty coal hoppers.  The second photo is at Spencer and as you can see some more nice color to track down on the Wheeling.  The last photo is the 6349 version 1.0, before and after when assigned 6982.
