Image #1 - CP SD9043MAC #9110 & Conrail SD70 #2569 sit on the fuel track in NS' ex-VGN South Yard. Once re-fueled, these two units would load up and head south down the Punkin' Vine to CP&L's Belew's Creek plant in NC.

Image #2 - Freshly repainted NS C30-7 #8063 with a short lived yellow snow plow, NS RP-E4D #9736 and NS GP40 #1375 rest in the late afternoon shadow of the S. Jefferson St. Bridge

Image #3 - A Pier 6 bound loaded coal train waits under S. Jefferson St. with air for power in order to head east.
