"At 9:20 a.m. this morning, a Norfolk Southern coal train derailed 15 railcars at Conley, GA (approximately 20 miles south of Atlanta). There are no reported injuries, but all trains that operate between Atlanta and Macon are expected to be delayed." Date: 09/01/15 19:01 Re: info need of a NS derailment south of Macon, GA Author: crescent A few pics I was able to get of the derailment.........NS 738 (Scherer coal train) had stalled, they tried to use the power from NS 175 (that was behind the coal train) to help get the coal train started when the derailment occured.......
