The derailment was south of Atlanta. Here's an excerpt from NS news and alerts page:

"At 9:20 a.m. this morning, a Norfolk Southern coal train derailed 15 railcars at Conley, GA (approximately 20 miles south of Atlanta). There are no reported injuries, but all trains that operate between Atlanta and Macon are expected to be delayed."

A few pics I was able to get of the derailment.........NS 738 (Scherer coal train) had stalled, they tried to use the power from NS 175 (that was behind the coal train) to help get the coal train started when the derailment occured.......

Which road crossing is this? And did NS shift trains to the ex-CofG or reroute via B'ham and Columbus?
