a Roundhouse (drone video )
Author: agrafton

Two or three times a month pretty much year round my wife and I go down to Holmes County Ohio one of the largest Amish
area in the US if not the biggest. That being said in the heart of Amish country is a Beautifully built Roundhouse housing the
collection of Steam engines and vintage diesels. On a quiet Saturday morning I took a short flight above the roundhouse, the
sun was in a perfect location for a short flight. This Roundhouse has no public admissions

Thanks for looking,
Alan

It would be great if the owner could open this up to a private paid photo shoot. All the preservation and wonderful construction is appreciated but would be so much better if the roundhouse and operating locos could be appreciated by others.

Weren't you afraid you were going to lose your drone inside the fenced in area?

Also, it didnt look like you were too far inside the fenceline, but arent there concerns about flying over someone's property at such a low altitude?

I agree. I recently tried to go on a group tour of the roundhouse, which they are now offering for at least 40+ people at a time. Once I got all the info, it said that any photos taken on AoS property of any of the equipment, machinery, and the roundhouse itself could only be for personal use and could not be shared in any way, shape, or form. Definitley not worth the $20 for the tour because of that, especially if you can go on Google and easily find photos all around the inside of the faclity. Hopefully they change that policy soon...
