Any updates on 1074 since it's last location was this past Tuesday the 29th in Endicott NY on 28N. Where's it's location now?

ForeverRailfan45, at Ayer they eye the train. Usually what leads in, leads out.

That's true for the container trains, but I'm not so sure it's valid for the auto-rack trains.

Toledopatch is correct. Typically the container train (22K-23K) will have it's power turned but the rack train (28N-287) will not. This is due to how the yard and wye are set up at Ayer.

That said, anything can happen depending on the desired leader, local use of power and even if units or power sets are swapped between trains.

In the current case I saw a photo that showed the 4 units on 28N ALL elephant style, so something will need to happen at Ayer.

But typically on the racks what leads in trails out.
