Roosevelt Bridge Chicago IL - Pics from a week ago
Author: erielackawanna

This past Monday (a week ago) I had a couple hours to spare in Chicago before my meetings, so I headed over to Roosevelt. The clouds didn't qiute cooperate, but I did get a couple trains in nice sun. I also got the Iowa Pacific Hoosier (in clouds, but dang cool to me).

Sharing my favorite shots (of over a hundred I took).

Pic three - I'm assuming was Haiwatha equipment heading back into service? Anyone think I'm right?

Are the engines on the Hoosier old NJ Transit engines?  The engine in the first photo looks like it had NJ Transit markings on it.  Plus their numbers look familiar.

Superliners with a cabbage car?  That's most likely the Grand Rapids, Michigan, train.
