Eastern Railroad Discussion > Original Number Of UP Caboose In Brookpark, OH

There was (until today) an extended vision high cupola ex Union Pacific caboose located at 16120 Brookpark Road in Brookpark, OH. The car was moved by truck today to the Midwest Railway Preservation Society in Cleveland. The car had been repainted red and lettered Ohio Northern with huge letters and the 16120 address on it. It is back on live rail now and rolled on it's wheels for the first time in 20 years or so.  MRPS plans to restore the gutted interior with parts that we have on hand. I would like at least to place the original UP number back above the doors inside of the car or up in the cupola, does anyone know what it was? The trucks on it are high speed with rotating end caps

Shows to be UP25305. Information from here.

Here is a photo from Google street view, taken in 2011. The caboose served as a roadside sign for Ohio Northern Transit Companies, a local trucking company.

This caboose has been reported as being ex UP 25305, a CA-6 steel caboose. Here is a roster listing of all UP CA-6 cabooses, UP 25300-25399.
