INRD in Robinson, IL yesterday
Author: KPryor

Caught these two switching cars in Robinson today. Got more pics and video to edit and I will upload them later. They're working here while the usual loco's, 3001 and 301 are getting serviced.

Where in Robinson?  I grew up there and became interested in railroads there, in the 1955 - 1963 time frame.

This was just outside the Hershey (formerly Heath) factory. I was standing at the dead end of South Dorsey St in the Smith Addition.

Thanks for sharing. What a coincidence. I just shipped a book to someone in Robinson. But because it's media mail, it's taking a funny route. The other day it was in Des Moine IA, today it's in Hazelton, MO--and it has to go to Robinson southeastern Illinois.

Interesting! I am from Robinson but live south of town near Flat Rock now. What kind of book did you ship?

Thanks for asking. Click on my link here. It's the Wabash book. The Fort Wayne & Jackson/New York Central book is not out yet. The USPS tracker shows that it's finally out for delivery in Robinson today.
