URHS Open House on the CMSL 4/23
Author: OCtrainguy

These are some photos from Saturday's URHS Open House on the Cape May Seashore Lines in Tuckahoe, NJ.  (I posted a few videos this morning:  http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?2,4016214)  Despite the off and on rainy weather, I heard the even was rather successful.

1.  URHS owned CNJ GP7 1523
2.  One of the excursion trains returning with URHS owned PRR GP9 7000 leading the return trip
3.  The train at the Tuckahoe station

More to come...

Continuing the photos.

4.  More of the crowd deboarding the train
5.  The next train getting ready to run
6.  The train passing through Corbin City

The trains ran every hour with Lehigh Valley F7A 576 leading, Good Vibrations, NYC 37 and two URHS (ex-Great Northern) coaches and PRR GP9 7000.  I rode the first train upon my arrival in the aerly afternoon and then photo'd some of the others.

More to come.,,

Continuing the photos.

7.  Inside one of the PRR P70 coaches.  They do look good!
8.  Former CNJ "Blue Comet" observation car.  I'm not sure if this is owned by the CMSL or URHS, but would love to see this restored.
9.  The main event is now over and things are getting prepped for the night photo shoot.

More to come..

Getting ready for the night photo shoot.

10.  A nice scene here with the F7A, RDC and Railway Expressway Agency truck.
11.  A PRSL train using PRR equipment loading REA baggage
12.  PRR GP9 7000 and its crew stopped at Tuckahoe tower to get their work orders for their shift.

The RDCs are next.

Last of the photos..

13.  My personal favorite of the night as the full moon is rising and can be seen to the left of the lead RDC.  The train is sitting on the Ocean City Branch.
14.  The RDCs on the Ocean City Branch

Many thanks to the URHS, CMSL and those involved with the night photo shoot.

Those ditch lights just don't look right on Historic equipment.
