Its current location is Logansport, Indiana. It is tied down and not running. By the way, it does not have the white painted numberboards.

That 8885 is one of the few units that does not have the "whiteface" paint
on the number boards, it just has the modified NS logo on the sides. I shot
it here in kY a few weeks ago when it was fesh from the paint shop. There is
only one other unit that I know with "half" a paint job...very worthy of a
roster shot!

I shot this unit this morning in Lafayette. It was the trailing unit on what looked like a South Yard to East Yard transfer. Didn\'t get a symbol and didn\'t even realize 8885 had the "new" logo.

That move was the D93 local.
