Eastern Railroad Discussion > CSX at "Bluegrass"Date: 06/12/03 16:51 CSX at "Bluegrass" Author: extra315 Why do CSX crews call the area west of Albion, IN (where they cross the Elkhart River) "Bluegrass" or Bluegrass Cut"? It is approximately MP BI-147 on the Garrett Sub.
Some photos: Never saw any Blue Grass here; or much of a cut to speak of! There is a cut, and it is covered in a very nice and lush blue grass. I don\'t know of any way back to the cut from a road, probably involved hiking along the ROW back to it.

Thanks. Aaron eXtra315 |
