A long Military Train stops Bread & Buns andCool video at the end.  On May 17th CSX Train W864 a military train and an exceptionally long on stops at Schwebels Bread & Buns bakery to let two e/b’s pass.Thanks to a HU from FEC2000, I caught this train at BG124.8 on CSX New Castle Sub, as the train came west it slowed progressively sloweruntil a complete stop in front of the Bread & Buns sign and allowed me enough time to walk around to the other side to finish shootingphotographs and of one of the e/b trains the Q368.I did a 4K video and that was almost 7 minutes long so I edited it “fast forward” to get the whole video in the allotted time frame for TO.So when you see speeded up and slowing down and even a reverse  move a little don’t be alarmed just some creative editing.  I don’t knowall the military pieces of equipment and feel free to identify any piece you may see or know.Thanks, Alan  photo 1 the head  end approaches and passes Schwebels aka Bread & Bunsphoto 2 after the first few TOFC pass the military equipment starts to passphoto 3 tank treads up close Alan

Neat pictures! I see in pic 3 they are moving APC'S. I didn't know the US military still used APC'S They go back to the 60,70,& 80's The Army used them before the Bradly fighting vehicle was put into use. I saw thousands of them in my 3 year of US Army service, both in West Germany & S. Vietnam .

Yup!

Yes Alan I agree with Tom...sure glad Tom noticed the nice job ;). Personally the close ups of the tanks are my favorites.

Pics 7 and 8 are the Avenger SAM system

Photo 4 is a M1 tank (not sure if it's the most current M1A2-SEP variant or not). Photo 6 is a HEMTT, Photo 9 is a FMTV.

Schwebels sold off that bakery, they have a plant in Solon a suburb of Cleveland. Don't know what's next.

Today they are commonly used as a mobile command vehicle.
