Same train, one day and 100 miles further ...

First pic is CSX 3125 leading T740-23 southbound on the RF&P at Summit, VA, this afternoon.  About 24 hours earlier, I had seen T740-23 with 530 leading at Rutherford, WV, about 100 miles away.  Of course, the first two units had to be spun (probably at Point of Rocks, MD, wye), so that would take half a day or so. ;-)

I'm guessing that train didn't average 1,000 miles per gallon of fuel like they say in the commercial.
