Caught wind that the NS "purple" train will follow the Amtrak train out of Pittsburg to Harrisburg tomorrow (Friday).
Onboard with all the big honchos of NS & business customers. NS has been sprucing up the trackside scenery too...(past couple of days) 
I can only imagine they will have solid green signals all the way, then the freight parade afterward...
Lastly, visited Horseshoe Curve on Tuesday with Tom D. (video next week) & the cutline now goes past the tower...and they were still cutting trees 
on the bottom of the hill & grinding um up. You can see from curve to curve now.....
The Horseshoe Curve is BACK!!!!!!!

Are there any plans to run east of Harrisburg to say maybe, north Jersey via the Harrisburg, Reading, and Lehigh Lines?

Nope. Rutherford should be as far as it goes, before it turns back to Altoona
