Eastern Railroad Discussion > Midville GA QuestionDate: 05/29/16 18:53 Midville GA Question Author: CandNW Traveling through Midville Georgia today in the steady rain we came upon the following PREX engines at what looks like an interchange with NS. Not being from this area I was curious as to what line this is. A quick search shows this to be the Georgia Southern. Is this still current? Any other engines on their roster? Thanks for any information. This is my first post on TO and my hats off to all who have contributed to this amazing site.
1 – PREX GP16's 1816 & 1602 at Midville, GA. 5/29/16 Rob C&NW - Carolina & Northwestern Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/29/16 18:56 by CandNW. A while back, there was some work on rehibilitating the track (owned by State of Georgia) down to I-16. If line were fully rehibilitated, it would extend to Vidalia, GA.
