Well, Did manage to get over to the CSX here in Portage In for about 3 hours today. Humidity chased me away. But I did manage to catch a total of 4 trains. A fifth was observed while I was just getting there. Here are 2 from the visit there today.

Shot 1.  This is the 3rd of the day here for me.  CP 8903 with CP 9531 on an EB Grain Train.

Shot 2.  The only train I saw while there that actually had CSX power either leading or in consist.  CSX 3049 leads CSX 33 EB with a stack train.

I found it sorta amusing that of all the trains (5) this was the only one with CSX units on it. NS was represented well with 3 total while BNSF had 4. First was a WB Stacker with UP/CP power, 2nd was an EB Oil Load with BNSF 7606/NS 8002/NS 8032/BNSF 7191, 3rd was the one in shot 1 4th was a wb on the Porter Branch/Line here. BNSF 4187/BNSF 6988/NS 7135. That NS 7135 was a surprise for me. Haven't seen an NS GP60 for some time.  Last was the CSX 3049 in shot 2.

  Had a nice visit here at the Diamond/Junction.  Always nice to check out new spots.Other than the heat and humidity I enjoyed the time trackside.  Thanks to those who sent info.  Ya'll take care.     Ben
