Ok, I see you posted here on Train Orders of 6963. This time I won't put it on Heritage Units. Anyway, when he comes through, I'll be at work anyway. Anyway, I like the Go-Rail but it's not my all time favorite. If it was a Heritage Unit  I haven't seen yet which include, Conrail, Reading, Central of Georgia, Lehigh Valley, & Norfolk Southern. Question though, what's the counterpart or the other half of 316 when he comes back westbound? I know it's not 309. Is it 315?

Not sure there really is another to make a "pair" in the usual sense. There isn't a 315. The 309 doesn't originate in Buffalo. I think the 145 and 15M both do. So I suppose one of them could be considered the "WB" counterpart to the 316, although the 14M does run EB. On several occasions I have seen the 145 just as light power by me in Fairview, PA- not sure where it gets some actual freight if there is none out of Buffalo.

At this point I'd say 145 is the closest thing 316 has to an "opposite" between Bellevue and Buffalo, especially since its opposite west of Bellevue, 146, hasn't run east of Bellevue in a long time. 309's opposite is 310. 15M's opposite is 14M. It's plausible to me that 309 handles the return traffic for both 310 and 316 a lot of the time because those cars would be mostly empties, and perhaps they run an extra section of 309 out of Buffalo if they need to.

Agree with 'patch - 145 is the counterpart of 316.  145 used to work
Conneaut regularily, but now goes thru after crew change.  316 will
usually work Conneaut, as does 309.  I believe 145 picks up at
Rockport.

145 is also the counterpart of 888, when that runs; 145 returns
the empty hoppers.

14M and 15M will work Conneaut, but only to drop off/pick up
units from/to Conway.

145 has also been known to set out its entire train at Rockport and run light to Bellevue, where an entirely new 145 is built.

145 doesn't work Rockport, or even go by that way anymore (unless an exception happens).  Been this way for over a year, except for a few month hiatus in the winter when they abolished the L13 and made 145 work Rockport.  It usually takes the NKP straight west to Bellevue.  Work handled by 145 in the past is covered by L13, the Bellevue to Rockport turn.  309 sets off a block to connect to L13 to connect to Bellevue.

He is called at 1:30pm at Bellevue.  He usually comes east between 5 and 8, leaving west a couple hours later.  Yesterday I lucked out and he went west by Berea before 7 with 2 SD40-2s and a GP.
