It can't be of much use for road duty with that short fuel tank unless they want to refuel quite often, or at least that's what I would suspect. You didn't need a big tank on it as an SW1500. I think the fuel capacity on the NS F-units is also a problem.

Great catch! I do find it interesting that the locomotive ID sticker claims it to be an 'SW1500E'. Regards, Russ |
