A Nice Pair In The Clouds
Author: dozerman

Sitting at home just getting back from vacation and heard these were on their way through my neck of the woods.  Thank god it was bright cloudy, because there isn't really anywhere you could shoot an east bound with the sun out on the Reading Line at this time of the day.

NS 4002, 4004 lead an east bound loaded ethanol train 64K on The NS Reading Line at mile post 30.2 at Emmaus, PA on 9-19-16 at 4:25 pm
.

Red edge stripe on the "bonnet" on one unit and blue on the other?

The blue "mane" stripe signifies the unit was rebuilt at the NS Juniata Locomotive Shop in Altoona, PA, while the red "mane" stripe signifies the unit was rebuilt at the NS Roanoke Locomotive Shop in Roanoke, VA.
