Actually, 8744 would be an SD60I. The only SD70I\'s are owned by Canadian National, and there are only 25 I believe. 5600 series.

A great resource for CSX roster info is http://www.bullsheet.com. Even has info on what paint scheme the unit wears.

CSX does have 25 SD70M, Supercabs but without the Isolated cab. They purchased the three EMD demos
7000 - 7002, plus the 22 EMD leasers 7003 - 7024.

Conrail was the only railroad to take delivery of SD60I\'s. Conrail 5544 was the first one -- it demonstrated the Isolated Cab concept. I\'m not sure when the production SD60I\'s started, but there were more SD60Ms delivered to Conrail between the 5544 and the first SD60I. Externally, I was never able to tell the difference.

As with everything else on the Conrail roster, the SD60I fleet was divided to CSX and NS on June 1, 1999.
