Saturday's DL PT98 / PT97
Author: sscannella

Some quick cell phone grabs from today's PT98 / PT97 Scranton to Portland turn. Of significance today was DL 3000 (aka 'Pinky'), as the leader on the westbound leg, after recently being refurbished and painted by the DL shop forces and the Alco Doc.

Locations are Gouldsboro at Snag Pong eastbound, then Cresco, and returning back to Scranton westbound.

A few more from today's PT98 / PT 97 chase....

1. PT 98 leaving Scranton.

2. PT 97 with the 3000 in the lead at Slateford.

3.  Point of Gap

Attaching the flour mill at Mt. Pocono and a close up of 3000's cab while dropping 32 loads of wheat.

Looks like a great chase. And I've never seen PT97 get back to Scranton before sunset when I've chased that, so you were fortunate.
