Is This CP AC4400CW Anything Special? Caught Today Mentor 10/17
Author: cornerfieldhobby

So besides seeing that L384 & Q393, topic here http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?2,4142497     I seen NS Eastbound Intermodal 206 in Mentor Ohio with CP AC4400CW #9615 go by. Well after I took the photo, I looked at the CP Unit. Then I noticed something different. A white horse and rider holding flag symbol towards the front right of the unit. I looked up this unit and couldn't find anything special about it, but does that symbol mean something and also is it something that Heritage Units should add?

I don't have an answer to your question, but thanks for answering mine about whether or not the NKP signals were still there in Mentor... I can clearly see in your photo they're not...

Sorry I did'nt reply to your topic about that. Yes, they did replace though's signals quite a while back. Though's signals I remember were put in back I believe in 2011 or 2012.

I just added 5 photos to your topic regarding the Mentor Signals.

It's a sticker that states "A proud supporter of the RCMP Musical Ride."  RCMP being the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

I hope they dont add it to the Heritage units site. They already have way to many "special units" cluttering up the site.

Yea you are totally correct about that. I just thought because like CSX, CSX has the Sticker Units, which don't mean anything to me.

Many of the leased CP units that BNSF was using a couple years ago also had those stickers, although you could barely tell. CP only leased out the old units that barely had any lettering still clinging to the sides.

I can not find anything on trainorders about the sticker.
What I recall seeing on here at one time is that the decal was for a Horse show in Calgary.
Possibly a show that CP / Hunter Harrison sponsored.
