Fall Colors and Clouds
Author: TrainCatcher

The forecast was for mostly cloudy but mother nature opened up the clouds for several hours of sun before puckering back up today in northeastern Indiana.  The focus was on fall colors until the clouds rolled back in and then it was about finding the sun.  Here are 5 from todays take:

A pair of NS Chicago line trains under fairly clear skies:

Eastbound CP 242 with CP' 8560 and 8643 at Corunna.

Eastbound NS Bryan, Ohio bound local B43 between Kendallville and Corunna with a lone GP38-2 5609 and 2 cars.

A trio of CSX Chicago line trains with heavy cloud cover:

Eastbound CSX intermodal train Q010 with 858, 5272 & 5012 at Altona, IN.

Eastbound Garrett yard entering mixed freight train Q386 with a pair of UP engines: 8799 & 7308 on the yard lead again at Altona just as Q010 cleared.

Westbound Windy City bound coal train, T601-11, at West Garrett, Indiana with 3234 & 4565 for the final shot of the day.
