Grand River Railway in Ohio-operations?
Author: GeoKathy

We will be traveling through the Painesville OH area Monday AM and wondering if anybody knows how this shortline, about one year old now I believe, is operating; any day better than another, do they have a regular start time?
Thanks for any help!

This is from one of the crew members...
We are out of empties at the moment, but when we do have cars it is typically Monday or Tuesday we load at 3:30 at Morton Salt and take the loads to interchange the following day.

Thank you for the information; maybe we will have a look Monday anyway.

Just adding a note that loading can take hours, sometimes that's all they do for the day.
