URHS F7s 726 & 578 At Pavonia

These were picked up last night from Tuckahoe on their journey to South Carolina headed for the Piedmont and Northern they are lettered for their new lessee San Luis and Rio Grande ...

I thought for sure the URHS would keep them in NJ.  They certainly racked up lots of miles on the Cape May Seashore Lines.  Sorry to see them go, but being a SC resident, maybe I'll get to see them here in the Palmetto State.  Thanks for posting.

If they are lettered for the SL&RG why would one expect them in the Palmetto State? As for the SL&RG,
the place has become the home for F units going off to die!! C'mon Ed, wind up those shop guys!

Probably for the same reason you can find running SLRG lettered E-Units in Wisconsin and Mississippi right now, that's his chosen reporting mark.

728 took a tour inside the shop ... 726 was left outside ... guess rhey're preparing and inspecting the units for travel ... I'm on private with permission of the owner who I hve to call to let him know im around ... he made it clear in no way does he want me or anyone else on the property without permission ..
